Who we are

We are a small team of bloggers and developers who use AI tools, hosting and SaaS products every day to build real websites. We buy, test and compare tools so you can choose with confidence.

How we test and review

We don’t rewrite press releases. Before a tool appears in a guide, we try to:

  • Use it for real work. We sign up (usually with our own money), build a test project and use the product the way you would.
  • Measure what matters. For hosting that means load speed, uptime and support response time. For AI tools it means output quality, accuracy and how much editing the results need.
  • Check pricing carefully. We look at renewal prices, limits on free plans and hidden upsells, not only the headline discount.
  • Compare against alternatives. A tool is only “best” relative to other options, so every verdict says who a product suits and who should skip it.
  • Update our content. Software changes quickly. We revisit popular guides regularly and show the last updated date at the top of every article.

How we make money

BytePicks is free to read. We earn money in two ways:

  • Advertising. We show ads served by Google AdSense and similar networks.
  • Affiliate commissions. If you buy a product through some of our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Commissions never decide our rankings. We regularly recommend free tools and products that pay us nothing when they are the better choice. Read our full affiliate disclosure.

  • We clearly say when information is based on our own testing and when it comes from the vendor.
  • We correct mistakes quickly. If you spot an error, please tell us.
  • Prices are given as a guide and may change. Always confirm the current price on the vendor’s website.
